PURPOSE: A waterproofing construction method is provided to cut down the material cost of sheets by reducing the thickness of the sheet to be used through improvement of shearing force and simply form a paint film layer with uniform thickness without primer covering. CONSTITUTION: In a waterproofing construction method, a paint film material is spread on such a base surface(1) as concrete or a steel plate to form a waterproof layer, and a finishing material layer is formed on the waterproof layer. Reinforcing fabric(2) of net structure to reinforce the shearing intensity is attached to the base surface, to form the waterproof layer, and a rubber asphalt paint film(3) where the reinforcing fabric is integrated is formed on the reinforcing fabric by spraying water soluble rubber asphalt together with a dissolving agent on the reinforcing fabric to a degree of covering the reinforcing fabric. Silica(5) of a particle state is spread on the surface of the rubber asphalt paint film, to form the surface of the rubber asphalt paint film as a finishing material layer.
