PURPOSE: A method for preparing a soap by using persimmon extract and a soap prepared by the method are provided, to obtain a soap showing a deodorizing effect, an antibacterial effect and a whitening effect without using chemical materials. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the step of compression-molding the soap composition consisting of 100 parts by weight of a soap base and 0.2-5 parts by weight of persimmon extract. Preferably the persimmon extract is obtained by pulverizing an immature persimmon and juicing the pulverized one. Also the PERMON BM-519 containing the persimmon extract is used as the persimmon extract.
