DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING SIGNAL OF USB SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A device and a method for processing a signal of an USB(Universal Serial Bus) system are provided to realize a normal operation by installing a power manager generating no problem exceeding a power consumption rule even if a plurality of USB devices are accessed at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of device drivers(24) process a function of the matched USB device(11) on a software base by installing to an USB host system(20). The USB driver(23) installed between the device driver and a controller(21) properly changes the data transferred from the device driver to an USB interface rule and transfers it to the USB device by using the controller. An application(25) placed between the device driver and a user interface transfers the function desired by the user to the device driver or transfers a result to the user. The power manager(100) installed between the USB driver and the device driver makes only one device enable and keeps the rest in a suspend mode by interrupting the signal accessed from each USB device, storing the signal in a FIFO(First Input First Output) form, and making the application or each device driver check the signal.
