PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge for an ink jet printer by eliminating the necessity of a package in use of packaging material. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge includes an ink impregnation material for impregnating ink in an interior part, and an ink supply port and air communicating hole are closed off by means of sealing material. The sealing material is comprised of laminating, in turn from the outside, a surface layer 11 located at the outermost side, a first adhesive layer 12, a barrier layer 13 for interrupting a flow of ink and air, a second adhesive layer 14, and a sealant layer 15 being heat fusionable to the cartridge primary body. |
