PURPOSE: A system for offering the translated data in real-time through a messenger service and a controlling method thereof are provided to smoothly communicate with a partner using a different language by translating the language inputted from a user into the language of the partner and transmitting it to the partner in real-time. CONSTITUTION: Each user PC(100) includes a messenger operation part(102), a database(106), a sentence translation engine(104), and a country code storing part(108). The messenger operation part operates a messenger program. The database stores a grammar system of the user's language. The sentence translation engine translates the grammar system of the inputted sentence by referring to the data after executing the messenger program. The country code storing part classifies and stores a country code to recognize various languages. A server(120) receives the sentence translated by the sentence translation engine and transmits it to the partner. The server includes a sentence rearranging engine(122) for properly translating the translated sentence into the grammar system of the language after searching the database(124) of the partner's language.
