The fruit e.g. grader fruit locator rolls speed controller has the rolltrain incorporating locators for the olives being graded and lateral chains (5) driving the rollers. The chains have cylindrical dynamising contact zones, and the rolltrain speed is governed by the roll speed. In contrast, belt conveyors give static contact of the olives during grading.
