The analytical diagnosis of AIDS comprises evaluation by flow metering of the active percentages of the monocytes and lymphocytes of the peripheral blood of healthy and HIV-1 infected patients. The corresponding expression of the HLA-G antigen molecule in the patient is thus determined. EMBODIMENT - Monoclonal antibodies also sensitise the monocytes and lymphocytes of AIDS patients relative to the cytotoxic cells of the immune system.
