摘要 Method of lifting fluids from deep boreholes involving compressors is based on the principle of dissimilar media densities. The low density lifting medium is a practically incompressible, chemically resistant, solid granular material. Although many low density granular media may suffice, a spherical (2-8 mm diameter) synthetic material of 300-500 kg/cum density was chosen. Suitable equipment was used to ensure safe lifting of fluid and to prevent deposition of settled out salts and paraffin-wax. Depending on how low density solids were introduced under pressure into the system, the equipment had three designs. Considering the 1st method, granular solids (2) were placed in collectors (1). A rotary pump (3) was fitted to the top of a collector. The pressure of the pump transferred granular materials into the producing pipe (5) via a delivery pipe (4). Solids formed a low density mixture in the production pipe with the fluid to be extracted. As the fluid rose, the added solids constantly polished the internal surfaces of the producing pipe, thus preventing formation of deposits. Both a proportion of gases rising with the solids containing mixture and the solids were returned under pressure into the system. Previous separation of solids from liquids took place in the collector. Solids were returned repeatedly into the system. This demonstrated, that devising a closed recirculating process may be feasible. Considering the 2nd method, the equipment comprised a collector and two pressure cylinders. Solids found in solid-fluid systems were condensed in the pressure cylinders and pressure generated by centrifugal pumps drove the solids into the well. The pressure cylinders operated alternatively. Considering the 3rd method, the equipment contained one collector. The pressure generated by a centrifugal pump drove the solids into the well via an injector. Separation and repeated reinjection followed previous lines.
