<p>The essence of improved versions of connection flanges for heating bodies which may have various forms (oval, D-shape, round, rectangular, etc.) - depending on the shape of the heating body pipe to which they must perfectly conform - lies in the fact that they have a radius or a chamfering made along the perimeter edge on the upper side, which enables a more quality adhesion of paint after the varnishing of the heating body, and a groove or nipples impressed on the lower side, which are solving the problem of welding and adjustment of the connection flange onto the heating body. Thus a simple and better welding as well as a precise positioning of the connection flange on the heating body is possible. The flanges may alternatively have a pressed-out rim with a diameter exceeding the diameter of the heating body's pipe, which represents an additional welding material required essentially to achieve a quality weld. The number and dimension of pressed-out nipples, dimension of the pressed-out rim as well as the dimension and shape of the chamfering (radius) may vary with regard to the requirements of a contractor's technological process.</p> |
