Formulations for parenteral use of estramustine phosphate and albumin

A pharmaceutical formulation for use in treating cancer which comprises a parenterally acceptable carrier or diluent and estramustine phosphate in admixture with human albumin, wherein the weight ratio of estramustine phosphate to human albumin is from about 1:5 to about 1:0.3, respectively; and the use of said formulation in minimizing the side affects associated with intravenous administration of estramustine.
