摘要 PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring actuator skew are provided to mechanically and automatically measure the skew of an actuator by using a pin hole and a photodetector, thereby precisely controlling the skew according to the measured value. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring actuator skew includes a pin hole(17) disposed at a front part of an actuator(13) mounted with an objective lens(10), and a photodetector(20) for detecting light passing through the pin hole. The actuator is supported by a control unit(15) for controlling the skew of the actuator. A computer(22) processing light spots focused to the photodetector to light signals. The light passing through the pin hole is focused into a light spot in the multiple ring shape by diffraction, wherein the rings are distributed symmetrically with respect to the 0th beam in the profile of the light beams. According to the diffraction, the light spot is focused in the shape of band in the entire area of the photodetector, so that the change amount of light intensity is precisely measured according to the change of position of the objective lens.
