APPARATUS FOR DISCHARGING CONDENSED WATER OF HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: An apparatus for discharging condensed water of a heat exchanger is provided to improve heat exchange efficiency by allowing condensed water generated during heat exchange not to be form on a surface of a fin but to be smoothly discharged. CONSTITUTION: A fin(10) comprises first fins(21) having both sides coated with hydrophilic agent(21a) and second fins(22) having both sides coated with water repellent(22a), both of which are arranged in order and mounted so that one side of the first fin coated with the hydrophilic agent and one side of the second fin coated with the water repellent are placed near each other. Condensed water is formed on surfaces of a tube(1) of a heat exchanger and the fin to form a water drop. The water drop formed on a surface coated with the water repellent is added to another water drop to form a larger water drop, and contacts with a surface coated with the hydrophilic agent so that the water drop is dispersed on the surface coated with the hydrophilic agent, drops down and is rapidly discharged.
