<p>PURPOSE: A hand-over processing method for a mobile communication system is provided to prevent the disconnection of a call generated by the abnormal process of a hand-over by processing abnormal end in a UE(User Equipment). CONSTITUTION: If a hand-over procedure is started(S1), a UE decides a hand-over by a message transmitted from an RNC(Radio Network Controller), transmits a measurement report message to the RNC, and requests an active set update(S2). If an active set update message is received, the UE backs up the active set update of a physical layer and changes the active set update according to the received active set update message(S3). The UE transmits an active set update completion message to the RNC(S4). The UE checks the input of an acknowledgement signal with respect to the active set update completion message from the RNC during a certain time(S5). If the acknowledgement signal is not received, the UE returns the changed active set update to the active set update which is previously backed up(S6) and ends the hand-over procedure(S7).</p> |
