FIELD: electronic information systems. SUBSTANCE: method involves assignment of identification number to each item of produce, used as such being different identification numbers assigned by manufacturer to each item of produce by moment of its output; each of these identification numbers is entered in database whereto access is possible over remote-access network; produce authentication is made by comparing identification number of item of produce with number available in database of identification numbers; message informing about authenticity of given item of produce is outputted in case these numbers coincide.
