FIELD: production of a compound from a leaky synthetic material and a solid fibrous filler. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of manufacturing of a compound from a leaky synthetic material and a solid fibrous filler made out of a reinforcing material, in particular glass-fiber and a device for realization of the method. The method provides for an extrusion of the indicated materials from an extrusion cavity outside. The infinite fibers of a reinforcing material are preliminary wet with a synthetic material, brought in the extrusion cavity to a synthetic material and mixed with it there. For wetting by a synthetic material the infinite fibers are fed through a bite formed between two rotating in opposite directions wetting rolls. The outer surface of the rolls has a cover made out of a running leaky synthetic material with thickness sufficient for constant filling the bite between the rolls with a synthetic material. The device for realization of the method contains a screw-type extruder and a device for wetting the fed fibrous material. The extrusion cavity of the extruder surrounded by its body in addition to its inlet and outlet holes used for an extruded synthetic material has a side hole used for feeding of the infinite fibrous material. The wetting device outlet in direction of transportation is connected to the side hole of the extruder. EFFECT: the invention ensures even and complete wetting a fibrous material and manufacture of a compound with the high share of very long fibers. 17 cl, 1 dwg |
