SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with metallurgy, in particular with development of the constructional forming high-strength steel intended for manufacture of complicated shape heat-strengthened details by a method of cold volumetric press forming. Offered steel contains components in the following ratio (in mass %): carbon - 0.08-0.15; manganese - 0.90-1.40; silicium - 0.01-0.17; molybdenum - 0.01-0.10; boron - 0.0005-0.0050; titanium - 0.01-0.04; sulfur - 0.005-0.020; aluminum - 0.02-0.06; calcium - 0.001-0.010; nitrogen - 0005-0.015. At that: N / (Ti + 0.5 Al + 10B)<= 0.21; 5 <= 4/C - Mn/0.055 <= 26.5; Ca/S <= 0.065. Technical result of the invention is improved characteristics of the steel hardenability that will allow to ensure through hardenability of a billet with a diameter up to 25 mm, at provision of high strength and plasticity.
