CHAMBER OR TUNNEL DRYER OR HEATER FOR CERAMIC FORMPIECES

The chamber or tunnel dryers/preheaters for ceramic mouldings consists of thermally insulated sheet metal elements mounted on a base plate (1). The ceilings (6) and/or walls (2, 4) are formed by self-supporting trough-shaped elements (3). These elements are formed by sheet metal panels with edge zones bent inwards. Weld seams, as well as bolts together with sealing elements are used to construct individual elements (3). Joining of such elements to one another and attaching them to the baseplate takes place by means of screws. Thermal insulation takes the form of insulation layers (5) and mineral wool (7).
