SUBMERGED BODY OF HYBRID HULL TYPE HYDROFOIL CRAFT

PURPOSE: A submerged body of a hybrid hydrofoil craft is provided to save driving force by minimizing the pontoon for installing propeller engines at both ends of a main hydrofoil, and to increase the speed of the hydrofoil craft by reducing friction with lifting force and by preventing cavitation. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid hydrofoil craft sails by receiving lifting force while floating on the surface of water. A submerged body is installed in the lower part of a hull(10) of the hybrid hydrofoil craft, and main supporting bodies(50a,50b) are installed vertically under the hull. A main hydrofoil(60) is attached to the ends of the main supporting bodies, and spaced and arranged horizontally to the hull. Pontoons(70a,70b) are formed in the ends of the main hydrofoil, and submerged under the surface of the water to float the hull with lifting force in cruising. A stern hydrofoil(80) is combined vertically with a stern supporting body(90) vertically standing downward in the stern of the hull to stabilize the hull by generating lifting force.
