FIELD: aviation and space industries; production of reinforced shells with a metallized coating made out of a composite material. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of manufacture of the reinforced shells made out of a two-kind curvature composite material with a metallized coating, that may be used in air and space technology, motor industry, shipbuilding. The method of manufacture of the shell made out of the composite materials (coal-plastic, glass-fiber material, organoplastic) with a metallized coating and having two-kind curvature provides, that a composite materials pattern is covered with an antiadhesive lubricant and then a metallized coating is deposited. The prepreg is cut into workpieces, the workpieces are laid on the pattern and the shell formation is made by the thermal-compression method in the furnace in vacuum. The process of manufacture of a shell is performed in two stages. On the first stage before laying the workpieces of prepreg on the pattern it is cut into workpieces in the form of lobes of an equal form with their subsequent laying on the pattern with a displacement from a layer to a layer for overlapping joints and provision of the dimensional stability of the structure. On the second stage the silicone mandrels reproducing the profile of the stiffening ribs are used. Then they lay the cut out workpieces of prepreg on the silicone mandrels along the pattern of the stiffening ribs, forming a reinforcement of the shell. The silicone mandrels are put on the assembled shell, positioning the reinforcement and the stiffening ribs so, that their axes coincide with the axes of the direction of the lobs foundation of the shell prepreg adjoining to the reinforcement. Then formation of the shell with the stiffening ribs and reinforcement is exercised by a thermal-compression method of formation in the furnace in vacuum producing a reliable connection between the stiffening ribs, the shell and the metallized coating. EFFECT: the invention allows to produce a shell with low porosity, decreased anisotropy of properties and high stability of the construction. 5 dwg |
