PURPOSE: A back light for a liquid crystal display is provided to prevent the brightness of a back light from reducing and prevent an afterimage of a liquid crystal display and spots of a film. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of linear lamps(120) are provided. A reflecting plate(126) is installed to return light downward emitted from the lamps to the upper part. A lower plate(128) and a radiation plate(150) are sequentially installed under the reflecting plate. The lower plate includes lamp supporters for supporting the plurality of lamps. Each lamp supporter has a lamp containing groove(122). A plurality of supports(125) are formed between the plurality of lamps to prevent accumulated sheets from drooping. A surface area of a rear surface of an attachment surface of the lower plate is larger than a plane. |
