<p>The stand is used in assembly works, operation and repairs of communication cables of different capacity of the formation and conductive wires in a wide range, from several scores to several hundreds. It has considerably simplified construction.It consists of a supporting tube (1) fitted horizontally, with facilities at both its ends for tightening of cable (3) and a holder, fitted between them, for a connection contact comb (2), fitted in a jaw-type manner to the supporting tube. Both ends of tube (1) are fitted by means of brackets with screw (43) which are firmly engaged to one of the arms of the upper part of a tubular two-armed stand (4) of compasses-like form, the arms of which form an alternating sharp angle, are connected laterally to a mobile extending plate with a screw (44) and have telescopic feet (41, 42) of extendable lengths, which are inserted into the arms of the tubular two-arm stand (4) and are fixed to them by tightening screws (47, 48). The telescopic feet (41) 42) end from beneath with suspended self-adjusting feet (45, 46).
