PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dummy tray for a connector in which invasion of dust and dirt that become the cause of operation failure of an HDD or the like due to contact failure of the connector contact part and the HDD or the like by adhering to the contact part of a plug and play connector is suppressed, and the dust and dirt adhered can be removed steadily and efficiently, in the air-cooled computer system or the like having a plurality of plug and play connectors for the HDD or the like. SOLUTION: A recess part 10 for engaging an HDD plug and play connector 5 is formed at the rear face of a dummy tray 1 and the air is blown into the recess part 10 by a blower 4 from the front face of the dummy tray 1 through a first air-blowing tube 2. Therefore, air flow 6 is generated in the longitudinal direction of the plug and play connector 5 and the dust and dirt adhered to the contact part of the plug and play connector 5 are blown away and removed, and discharged to the outside through a second air-blowing tube 3.
