PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire/wheel assembly increasing an outer diameter of a run flat support without impairing a rim assembling property and further enhancing run flat durability. SOLUTION: In the tire/wheel assembly, the run flat support 3 comprising an annular shell 4 in which an outer peripheral side is made to be a support surface, and an inner peripheral side is opened to a forked shape and an elastic ring 5 supporting the forked opened end on the rim, is inserted to a cavity part of the pneumatic tire 2. Height A of a cross section of the run flat support 3 is 50-60% of height SH of a cross section of the pneumatic tire 2 and a cross section area of a bead core 7 of the pneumatic tire 2 is 25-40 mm<SP>2</SP>.
