PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canister visual inspection device capable of easily and appropriately inspecting the appearance of a canister stored in a cask. SOLUTION: The canister visual inspection device for inspecting the appearance of a canister 3 by introducing flexible visual inspection equipment 1 such as a fiberscope in a cask 20 in which the soundness of a canister 30 stored should be inspected provides a guide means 2 for guiding the visual inspection equipment 1 along the surface of the canister 30 stored in the inside wall of the cask 20.
