PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing member which is contrived not to drop out when joining two flow passage tubes by interposing the sealing member . SOLUTION: The member is the sealing member which interposes between end faces facing the two flow passage tubes 1, 2 toward each other and serves configuration fastening by a cap nut 5 which is a fastener. The sealing member 7 is of an elastic material and is formed in circular doughnut shape. The sealing member is configured to provide at least two or more protuberances 8 press-fitting inside the cap nut 5 around their outer peripheries. The sealing member 7 is hooked to the cap nut 5 by the protuberances 8 when fastening the cap nut 5 by engaging the female thread 4 with the male thread 3 of other flow passage tube 2 and thus facilitates piping operation without dropping it out in operation.
