PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve capable of realizing more stable fuel injection by suppressing energy loss while having simple structure. SOLUTION: A body 30 is provided with a control valve 60 for controlling a communicating state and a cut-off state between a back pressure chamber 37 and a discharge port 40 in a return passage 39; and a displacement mechanism 70 having a pair of pistons 73, 74 accommodated in cylinders 44, 45 in the form of holding a valve element 61 of the control valve 60 and relatively displaceable together with the valve element 61 with respect to a valve chamber 41, and a pair of energizing springs 75, 76 energizing the pistons 73, 74 in the mutually holding direction, and displacing the control valve 60 into the opening position or closing position based on the drive of an actuator 77. Only the lower side piston 73 out of the pair of pistons 73, 74 is provided integrally with the valve element 61, and the energizing force of the lower piston energizing spring 75 out of the pair of energizing springs 75, 76 is set larger than that of the upper piston energizing spring 76.
