PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interference of a work bench and a telescopic boom, though minus of the telescopic boom is increased when a boom supporting lever is tilted at a standing position in a high lift work vehicle constituted by mounting a boom supporting arm to be tiltable between a backward tilted position and the standing position on a revolving base mounted on a vehicle, mounting the telescopic boom on the boom supporting arm to be freely derricked and driven and mounting the work bench on the telescopic boom to be horizontally revolved and driven and tilting the boom supporting lever by the boom derricking cylinder in a state of the telescopic boom held at a falling-down position. SOLUTION: When an actual derricking angle of the telescopic boom 3 reaches an interference danger derricking angle fluctuating according to a horizontally revolving position of the work bench 5 at the time of tilting the boom supporting lever 8, an elongation operation of the boom derricking cylinder 11 to drive the boom supporting lever 8 in the standing position A direction is regulated.
