PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave dissipating plate effectively reducing the waving inside a liquid tank and shifting of center of gravity thereof and further easily produced and handled. SOLUTION: The wave dissipating plate for the liquid tank T is formed of floating plate members 1a, 1b on a central part of a liquid surface L and adjacently on its peripheral part, which are connected with each other through a flexible part 3 connecting one surface of the floating member with those of other floating plate members. The flexible part is preferably a sheet material 3, and an adequate number of the floating plate members 1b adjacently located on the peripheral part of the central part of the floating plate member are provided with weights 4 and through-holes 5.
