PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein kinase inhibitor and a new gymnastatin derivative. SOLUTION: The protein kinase inhibitor comprises a compound of the formula(I)( wherein, R11and R12are such as to be joined each other together with the carbon atom to which they are bound to form a substituted six-membered hydrocarbon; R5ais H, OH or a lower alkoxy; R6is H, or R5aand R6are joined each other to form an oxo group; and R7is an alkyl, alkoxy or alkenyl ) and a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
