PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice scoop of a good usability, which can be held by a rice cooker. SOLUTION: The rice scoop 1 made of a resin has an upper surface of a handle part 3 formed into an approximately flat part 4, and the rice scoop 1 is formed and constituted in such a manner that the approximately flat part 4 is located at the uppermost part. Then, on the handle part 3, a recess 7 is formed, and a permanent magnet 6 is inserted in the recess 7. Then, a shielding lid 8 is attached by ultrasonic welding in a manner to cover the upper surface, and thus, the permanent magnet 6 is embedded. In this manner, the rice scoop 1 can be held at an arbitrary location on an outer frame 10 of the rice cooker 9 constituted of a ferromagnetic metal material by the magnetic force of the permanent magnet 6, and the usability can be improved.
