PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which enables glycosylation of seawater at first as an application of chemical synthesis of sugar, and to provide a system carrying out chemical synthesis of ethanol or amino acids from seawater. SOLUTION: L-Lactic acid is converted into glucose by passing through a bioreactor comprising a group of enzymes extracted from beans or pig liver, etc. The L-lactic acid is produced from H<SB>2</SB>and CO<SB>2</SB>in the seawater via acetaldehyde.
