PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module capable of sufficiently suppressing occurrence of flair even when miniaturizing and low profile are adopted for the camera module. SOLUTION: A frame 2 is formed on a board 5 so that an imaging element 4 and a lens 1 are laid out at a gap on the board 5. Further, an infrared ray elimination filter 3 is provided between the imaging element 4 and the lens 1 and the infrared ray elimination filter 3 is placed in close contact with the imaging element 4.
