An acceleration sensor comprising a piezoelectric vibrator (2) for generating a stress-dependent charge, and a weight (1) formed on the piezoelectric vibrator (2), wherein the piezoelectric vibrator (2) has on the front and rear surfaces thereof detection electrodes (3a and 3b) and (4a and 4b) forming a plurality of pairs, and detection electrodes (3a and 4a) and (3b and 4b) are respectively parallel-connected so that capacities (Cd1 and Cd2) are connected in parallel, whereby a charge sensitivity can be doubled with a voltage sensitivity retained.
