<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent serious failure by investigating and analyzing the defective condition of a signal processor even after resuming the operation. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving a state freezing request from a host main control part, a user data processing part 100 suppresses any operation other than that associated with the state freezing, and saves internal information being information indicating data under processing or operating conditions of each part to a saving area 108 of a disk memory part being a hard disk device for storing work data or the like. When the state freezing fails due to runaway, all operations during execution are stopped(forcedly ended) by reset and boot, and the internal information at that time is saved, and the initialization processing of each part other than the saving area is executed.
