PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make reproduction of high-quality contents possible by acquiring a small quantity of additional data while making trial listening of contents, such as music, possible, and to enhance a willingness to buy for users who are satisfied merely with the contents of low quality for trial listening. SOLUTION: Low tone quality portions which are first frame portions arrayed with frames FB being first code columns formed with part of the code columns obtained by encoding original signals in frame units as dummy data and message addition portions which are second frame portions arrayed with frames FA of the code columns encoded with the signals formed by compositing another signals, for example, message signals, such as "This is trial listening data.", with the original signals are alternately arranged at prescribed intervals in such a manner that narrow-band reproduction is performed for trial listening purposes.
