PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering controller capable of constituting a capacitor of one unit capacitor. SOLUTION: In this electric power steering controller 1 which is provided with the capacitor 6 smoothing current flowing in an electric power steering motor, a control element controlling the electric power steering motor, and a control board 4 with which the capacitor is electrically connected, the capacitor is constituted by one unit, and a connection wire of the capacitor and the control board is made of copper. A conventional capacitor is constituted of a plurality of units, and a connection wire of the capacitor and the control board is made of iron or brass. But, by constituting the connection wire of the capacitor and the control board by copper having lower resistance than iron or brass, heat generation of the connection wire of the capacitor and the control board can be suppressed.
