PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a facsimile machine main body from reaching a transmission disabled state due to a job full state. SOLUTION: In a communication system wherein an Internet facsimile machine having: a data transmission / reception means for transmitting / receiving data with facsimile communication; and an image forming means for forming an image from received data, and a computer for managing the Internet facsimile machine are interconnected via an electric communication channel, the Internet facsimile machine includes: a registration means for registering a mail address of the computer; a mail generating means for generating mail with transmission data when the transmission by the data transmission / reception means is failed; and a mail transmission means for transmitting the mail to the computer, and the computer includes a control means providing a re-transmission request to the Internet facsimile machine at a prescribed time interval on the basis of the mail.
