PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level sensor for surely preventing contact failure of a contact point and reducing the number of part items without degrading the detection accuracy. SOLUTION: The liquid level sensor 1 has: one rod-like float arm 3; a float installed at an end of a rotating part 3b of the float arm 3; a contact plate 5 operatably associated with the rotation of the rotating part 3b of the float arm 3; contact points 5a provided at one end of the contact plate; and a conductor for detecting a liquid level of a liquid to be measured by the sliding of the contact points 5a. The contact points 5a are two bent parts formed by bending the end of the contact plate 5. When the end sides of the bent parts are brought into contact with the conductor, a level signal indicating the changed amount of the liquid level is detected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
