PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper for rotary offset press without forming folded and cracked part or restrictions on production system and scarcely causing offset rotary wrinkles. SOLUTION: The coated paper for rotary offset press obtained by forming one or more pigment coated layers mainly comprising pigments and adhesives at least on a side of a base paper, uses the base paper without size press treatment or size press treated by coating dried weight 0.5g/m<SP>2</SP>of the starch on both sides of the base paper, and has 0.25-0.54 kJ/m<SP>2</SP>of interlaminar strength.
