PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a new modified polyamideimide resin reducing warpage of a resin coated film after drying a solvent caused by strong cohesive force of the resin while maintaining excellent heat resistance and toughness, the modified polyamideimide resin obtained by the same method and a varnish comprising the same. SOLUTION: The method for producing the modified polyamideimide resin is characterized by reacting a mixture containing siloxanediamine, an aliphatic diamine and an aromatic diamine as diamines with trimellitic anhydride and further reacting the resultant mixture of the diimidodicarboxylic acid with an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and an aromatic diisocyanate.
