PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire extinguisher storing box for a cargo truck wherein a taking out work and a storing work of the fire extinguisher are easily and rapidly carried out. SOLUTION: The fire extinguisher storing box is provided with a body 31 for storing the fire extinguisher S; and a lid 32 turnably and closably mounted to this body 31. A support member 4 for supporting the fire extinguisher S is provided in the body 31. A fixing member 5 for fixing the fire extinguisher S by clamping the fire extinguisher S between the support member 4 and it in the lid closed state is provided on the lid body 32.
