PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyphenylene sulfide-based resin coated metal which has properties such as solvent resistance and chemical resistance which are suitable for various industrial members, and has a good adhesive strength and secondary processability with metals. SOLUTION: The polyphenylene sulfide-system resin coated metal is coated by polyphenylene sulfide-based resin through a thermal denaturation membrane which is formed by coating at least one selected from the group comprising epoxy resin, fatty acid and hydroxy-substituted phenol at least on one side and heat treated at a temperature 350-450°C.
