Printing machine has in-feed cylinder (3), impression cylinder (4), intermediate cylinder (2), imaging cylinder and outfeed cylinder radially displaceable to adapt to different thickness of printing materials. Impression cylinder (4) has gripper to hold sheet and intermediate cylinder has recesses at its circumference to take up gripper. Intermediate cylinder is directly downstream of digital printing unit.
