<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner for avoiding the diffusion of minute particles contained in indoor air. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaner (1) is a floorstanding air cleaner for cleaning indoor air, and has a jet (12) and an inlet (13). The jet (12) is provided at a rear side. Air after cleaning is blown into a room from the jet (12). The inlet (13) is provided at the front side of the jet (12) being flush with the jet (12).
