<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantaneously change a control network for controlling optical VPNs, and also to share network resources instead of exclusive lines occupying the network resources even with respect to a network provider. <P>SOLUTION: The control network for controlling the optical VPNs is provided by VPNs. A function (ensuring security, and reserving full-time access, etc.) equivalent to the one constructed by the exclusive lines is provided to a user by utilizing the optical VPN control VPN. It is compatible with topology change in each optical VPN not by the physical change work of the exclusive lines but by a logical change work such as changing the setting of the control VPN, so that the optical VPN topology change is achieved at high speed. The network provider prepares the shared control VPN with respect to the plurality of optical VPNs, so that an optical VPN control network is constituted of the fewer network resources compared with a case when constituted by the individual exclusive line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
