<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector using a number of contactors to use a connection part. <P>SOLUTION: This male/female electric connector has at least two parts to be pressed or mated in forming the connector. A first connection unit and a second connection unit substantially same as the first connection unit are engaged. The thin cantilever-type conductive contactor can be mounted to be kept into contact with the mating thin cantilever-type conductive contactor in an aperture or slot of an insulating housing. Soldering parts or soldering balls can be mounted to connect these contactors and an external circuit board and the like. The soldering balls can hold first end parts of these contactors in the other insulating base matched to be mated with each other. This connector can be provided as two coplanar arrays.
