PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a recording preparatory process conformed to a time in which a recording operation is not carried out. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus is equipped with a first control part (100) which controls to generate image data to be recorded, a pseudo timer part (101) which generates pseudo time data, operation parts (201 and 207) which calculate on the basis of pseudo time data, the time in which a recording part (205) does not carry out the recording operation, and a second control part (201) which determines the recording preparatory process before generated image data are recorded on the basis of the calculated time and controls a process according to the determination.
