PNEUMATIC RADIAL TIRE PROVIDED WITH BEAD REINFORCING LAYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire improving handling stability and initial steering stability without deteriorating ride comfort. SOLUTION: A bead filler is raised on an outer circumference surface of a bead core between a main body part and a winding up part of a carcass ply and code is wound in a spiral shape coaxially with the bead core to provide a bead reinforcing layer extending from a bead part to a side part. The bead reinforcing layer is formed with shaped code including a longitudinal wave section 11a shaped in a wave form repeating bending in and out in a radial direction of the spiral and a transverse wave section 11b shaped in a wave form repeating bending in and out in a direction perpendicular to the spiral. Consequently, handling stability and initial steering stability is improved without deteriorating ride comfort. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
