PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clean and environmentally friendly smoker's requisite free from the generation of sidestream smoke and causing little clogging with harmful materials such as nicotine and tar and the soaking of unpleasant smell. SOLUTION: The smoker's requisite is composed of a tubular porous ceramic body 2 opened at both ends and having micropores to pass the flow of air necessary for the burning of a cigarette 1 and reject the flow-out of sidestream smoke, a cap 4 having a sidestream smoke filter 5 to adsorb the sidestream smoke generated from the fire at the tip end of the cigarette in the body 2 and attached to the tip opening 2a of the porous ceramic body 2 and a cigarette holding member 7 to hold a cigarette 1 inserted into the holding member 7 and attached to the rear opening of the body 2. An air-permeable heat-resistant sleeve 3 is attached to the inner circumference of the body 2 to surely adsorb, deodorize and remove the sidestream smoke in multiple stages to inhibit the flow out of the sidestream smoke from the smoker's requisite.
