PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible and durable mounting device for mounting a fan on a fan driving device so as to reduce the level or size of vibration. SOLUTION: A flexible metal disk 36 is used for mounting a hub of the fan 32 on the driving device 26. The vibration between the fan 32 and the fan driving device 26 is therefore reduced, preventing damage to various components in a cooling system. The flexible metal disk 36 also performs the function of automatically aligning the fan 32 and the fan driving device 26. The durable flexible metal disk 36 has improved creeping and deteriorating resistance, compared with a typical elastomer mounting part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
